Schield "Bantam" Crane

12"x16" Oil on canvas - Schield Bantam cranes were built in America up until the 1960s. These cranes were attached to a truck bed and had many uses on farms and such. This relic sits in a scrap yard in Waxahachie, Texas and I presume that it's no longer in use since it hasn't moved in several years.

  1. I like your color combination of the red and green. We are painting at the nature center this Saturday at 9:00, I hope you will join us.

  2. Hello, my name is Tyler Schield and my great uncle Wilbur Schield and his brother Vern were the pioneers Schield bantam creation and production. It's interesting how many farms or older homes I pass and I always look for a bantam excavator that's slowly becoming one with the surrounding earth. Your picture is a perfect representation of that. I was curious as to how much for a print?
